Jan 12, 2014 Re: Super Mario Bros 3 Mix (smb3 hack) Post by Squishy Rex » Mon Oct 20, 2014 8:46 am Just smashed World 7, and the gravity feature is quite remarkable, but it can cause a small amount of brainhurt, since jumping into a new gravity field causes you to become a fast human yo-yo. Super Mario Bros. 1 was my very first video game and I grew up on Super Mario Bros 3 and thought it was the best thing ever. I really don't remember when I first played Super Mario World but it wasn't until a long, long while after I played Super Mario Bros 3 (at that point I already had Super Mario All Stars) However, probably over a decade. Super Mario World Hacks
Name | Description |
A Christmas Walk | A short, one level hack with Christmas themed graphics and music. |
Dr. Mario World Redrawn | Here is Dr. Mario World. 7+ years of off and on work. Still didn’t get to do the stuff that was planned to do and was officially done with this back in early 2012 but lost all data on a HD crash and had to use a really old backup to restore the hack, so here it is. Enjoy. |
Dr. Mario World: House Calls | Go inside patients’ houses and go inside of them to kill viruses. Very fun hack that still retains a classic Super Mario World feel. Features custom blocks, graphics, overworld, and sprites. |
Kamek's Island | This is a 7-World, 70-level hack of Super Mario World featuring some custom graphics, custom sprites, custom bosses, and custom music. This was originally created in 2013. |
Kevino's Quest | In Kevino's Quest, play as Kevino on his quest through six unique levels. |
Kevino's Quest 2 | In Kevino's Quest 2, play as Kevin in four unique worlds, filled with inside jokes and outstanding level design. NOTE: THIS HACK WILL HAVE GLITCHED MUSIC ON ALL EMULATORS EXCEPT FOR ZSNES. |
Le Avventure di Mario 2 | So, in this hack you will find that the Mario’s world is invaded by evils from other games: you will fight against Dr.Eggman, Snake men from Megaman and others! Will our hero restore peace in the world? And the most important question: WHO did all this? |
Le Avventure di Mario 3 | Here is one of the 3rd Hacks in the Le Avventure di Mario series which includes a lot of nice ASM changes such as Wall Jumping close to the Mega Man X style moves! |
Mario & Luigi: Kola Kingdom Quest | This is the sequel to Mario & Luigi: Starlight Island Adventure and a reimagining of Super Mario Bros. 5 Reborn. It features custom sprites, bosses, music, ASM, and hand-drawn graphics, much like the prequel. |
Mario & Luigi: Starlight Island Adventure | Mario & Luigi: Starlight Island Adventure was created in 2012 as an answer to the question of what the horribly dated Super Mario Starlight Remix would be like if made in 2012. The hack features custom music, ASM, sprites, and hand-drawn graphics. |
Mario End Game | Mario End Game… is a rather infamous Super Mario World hack that changes literally everything about the original game. With original levels, custom bosses, sprites, music, graphics, blocks, patches, level asm and overworld, the game isn’t so much an ‘edit’ of Super Mario World as it is a new game built on the same engine. Plotline wise, it’s just ‘Mario saves Princess Peach from Bowser’. |
Mario is Missing Done Right | This is what Mario is Missing should have been. This hack stars Luigi on a quest to save his brother without learning any geography. |
Mario World X | This is a level hack (only the first few as yet) of Super Mario World. |
Mario X | Thank you for picking up my game! This is my first one, so it's going to be crappy but at least it's fun (I think). Be sure to check out my awesome box art! Play it with your loved ones! Play it with your cat or dog (I heard cats are better at playing Mario) too. Story While strolling around the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario got a message from Bowser. 'Dear sneaky plumber, me and my koopa army have stolen Mama Luigi and took over the Mushroom Kingdom! Mama Luigi is in one of my seven koopa hotels. I dare you to find him. Where's your spaghetti now!?' Mario knew he had to fight back. Mega Man X and Zero destroyed all of the koopa hotels, but Weegee teleported them to another dimension (don't worry, they made it out after the game)! now Mario and Yoshi had to do the rest of the work! Credits Gabriel Alexander (me) Autumn Victoria Lunarian Concepts Idol 5 (for that badass Spark Mandrill remix) Gamma V (for that Snazzy Spring Yard remix) You Email me at [email protected] or mzzmzz101@yahoo or mzzmzz101@aol for problems, feedback, or death threats (please no). Enjoy! |
Mario's Christmas Adventure | Mario’s Christmas Adventure is a short christmas themed Super Mario World hack, where Mario has to find and rescue the captured Santa Claus on the night before Christmas. It’s basically an all new game built on the original engine, with a different HUD, entirely new graphics from Mario Fan Games Galaxy and various SNES games with other things like new enemies, sampled music and a custom overworld being added too. |
Sendy's World | Supposedly a SMB 3 retro hack and has a surprise included. |
Super Bluio World | A whole new world of adventure! |
Super Demo World | This looks to be a good hack. Almost everything has been changed from the levels and even the title screen. |
Super Kaizoie Bros | This mod is NOT for non kaizo Mario skills this game is made to be very hardcore and over all weird. Have fun! |
Super Mario Bros. Enhanced | Previously known as Super Mario Bros. DX, this is an upgraded version made to work on modern emulators, and has a few audio problems fixed. There is little to no change in gameplay, so if you've played this hack before, there's not much new for you. This is a remake of the classic Super Mario Bros. in the SMW engine using SMB3 graphics. There are also two new worlds for you to explore. |
Super Mario Odyssey Demo | Another Super Mario World hack. This is a demo version. |
Super mario world | Enter a short description of what this hack is about here. |
Super Mario World Hell Edition | Very hard levels and new enemies in the hell of Super Mario World. |

Super Mario World: Bowser's Cataclysmic Trap | This hack uses primarily vanilla aesthetics, but features custom music and ASM assets. There is no 2-Player on this because it caused glitches with OW music, so the plot involves Bowser kidnapping Luigi. |
Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode I | Finally, after 2 cancelled SMW hacks and after a year of work,Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode I is finally here. It’s a complete Super Mario World hack that features: 80 stages (more than the original game), Custom music, Custom Boss battles, Custom graphics, Custom palettes, New Power Ups, Increased difficulty, Redesigned overworld map, And more… |
Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode II | Here it is, 8 months after Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode I, isaix finally released Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode II. This hack features: 79 new levels(more than the original SMW), Over 100 custom music, Custom graphics, New boss fights, New power ups, Custom palettes, A bit harder than the original game, Redesigned Overworld Map, And more… |
Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode II (Luigi's Edition) | Since the 3rd episode of Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure won’t come out in a while and its still “The year of Luigiâ€, here’s: Super Mario World: The Lost Adventure - Episode II (Luigi’s Edition). Play as Luigi, Shorter time limit to every stages, All the stages are done backward, All the levels have been slightly edited so that they can be completed backward, and some other minor changes. |
The Rituals Of Resurrection [Demo 1.5] | As Mario is taking a walk one day in the Mushroom Kingdom, he noticed that it was silent; as though he was the only being IN the kingdom. The Yoshis here played games and gave him rides, but they seemed non-existant, as though they had gone extinct. He continued his walk back to Yoshi's Cabin, when he saw a lone Boo ahead. The Boo took notice, and he muttered the words,'Yoshi.. diary..' before vanishing into thin air. Hmm.. this is getting strange. Quickly, Mario sprinted back to Yoshi's Cabin. This hack is completely Vanilla, as in: - No Custom Graphics - No Custom Sprites - No Custom Enemies - No Custom Music It only uses SMW's graphics, and plenty of my custom palettes are included within this hack. There's fourteen levels - There's two demo ends and Yoshi's house, so that means 11 levels worth of gameplay. I hope you guys enjoy this hack of mine! :D -uNkNowN5642(aka SyStemkraSh) |
The Second Reality Project 1 (Hard Type) | Bowser is back again, more powerful than times ago: He was able to find a parallel Dimension and build up a big airship fleet in there because he plans a huge attack on Mario’s World. He also kidnapped the Princess one time more! A new incredible challenge for Mario and Yoshi! All the levels from the original are completely changed and are much harder than the original game. |
The Second Reality Project 1 (SNES Version) | This is an easier version of the original Second Reality 1 Project. A lot of things are changed in mostly every level to decrease the difficulty. Many more midway points have been added, gameplay is edited, some enemies are deleted, more power-ups are added, and so on. |
The Second Reality Project 2 | A One-Eyed Big Boo called Zycloboo wants to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom, and like Bowser in “The Second Reality Project 1″ he wants to use the power source from another dimension called the Second Reality to get to his goal. To get Mario out of sight (or maybe for some other reasons?) he warps Mario and his Castle in the Second Reality. Mario’s only chance to stop Zycloboo is to find the Power Supply station, which can give him the power he needs for the task - or at least that’s what Zycloboo told him, heeheehee! |
The Second Reality Reloaded | 'The Second Reality Project Reloaded†is a remake of the first part. The hack finally features a new overworld (people requested this for years) and of course, custom graphics and custom music. |

It was over seven years ago that I released my second Super Mario Bros. 3 hack, Super Super Mario Bros. 3. I'm still very happy with how it turned out, though not completely happy. There are things I'd have liked to have done differently. I feel I did a lot of things right, but still a good number of things wrong. So I'm going to take the time here to look back at what I liked, and what I didn't like, about the hack.Windows

And yes, I have two Super Mario Bros. 3 hacks. Don't play the first one. It sucks. Unless you like hacks that are just really brutal. The second hack has much better level design, is not unfairly brutal like the first, and is just way more fun to play in general. The whole first hack is junk, and I'm not going to bother putting any of those levels here. I could easily fill the bottom ten levels with ten levels from that first hack, but I won't. Just know that even the worst levels of my second hack are better than most of the levels from my first hack.
So to start off with, my ten least favorite levels from that hack.
BOTTOM 10 LEVELS!
10: 5-7 There's nothing especially wrong with the level, exactly. The main problem is that it just feels.. blah. It's a shame, since Buster Beetle really gets to shine more than normal here, but the level design feels so 'generic cloud-to-cloud jumping.'
9: 7-3 I like pipes and Piranha Plants, but it's just not very interestingly done here. I'd done a lot better with this theme in 7-8.
8: 6-1 It's 2-7, but on ice! I like 2-7 a lot more, though. This feels like a far inferior 2-7 to me.
7: 2-1 Most of the underground levels I'd done are among my favorites, which just makes this level stick out like a sore thumb even more. There're a couple of different routes, but even so, there's just so little engaging about either.
https://evernb240.weebly.com/language-hacking-german-pdf-download.html. 6: 8-1 Too short to be much of a level, and what's there is only Lakitu, so even what is there just isn't much fun.
5: 2-2 So flat, and so little there. Not much else can really be said about the level.
4: 5-9 Like so many, commits the sin of blandness. The continuous stars seem almost pointless here, as there's just so little going for the level regardless.
3: 7-4 It's not bland, really, but I don't like this level, anyway. Mostly, it's hard for reasons that I didn't really intend, but I didn't fix those problems. Either I was lazy, or I was all right with it back then, but regardless, I hate it now.
2: Fortress 7-1 The alphabet maze fortress. It's a cool idea on paper. Kinda' sucks in execution, though. As usual, it's just dull. There's no real rhyme or reason to the correct path. It's just a lot of trial and error. Whee.

1: Airship 6 How is the most boring level in the whole hack an airship? How did I ever give this level the green light? And the world 6 airship, even! This should have never happened, and I'm sorry that it did. And of all the levels in this hack, this one gives me the greatest shame.
TOP 20 LEVELS!
20: 7-1 On one hand, there's nothing especially noteworthy about the level. It has Kuribo's shoe, but there're a few other levels that do as well. No, it's just a lot of sky-high fun, really. It's not an especially difficult level for how late in the game it appears, but just being a lot of fun is enough to offset that.
19: 1-1 The first level is a great opening. It's an easy level, though harder than the original 1-1. It's also underground, giving it that whole 'I'm harder than the original game' feel, even if there's nothing difficult about it. It's also got a couple of 'secret' areas which aren't hard to find, but still nice to discover. Overall, I'm very happy with this as an opener.
18: Fortress 8 It's hard, but then, it should be. It's World 8! It's also got the fake floors, which are not as irritating as might seem at first, as long as you notice the ceiling, which actually points to where those fake floors are! And besides, you have to expect some when you're walking over what looks like a solid floor over spikes, right?
17: 7-9 It's another level that's probably way too easy for how late it appears in the game, but whatever, I love it! 'Sides, nothing wrong with a few breather levels. It's got a little quicksand, a lot of water, and a lot of coins!
16: 1-4 This actually was originally planned to be 1-1, but it seemed too difficult for the very first level. Not that it's that hard, but it does have Chain Chomps, a possibly tricky waterfall, and a fire Nipper, but it's also got that secret area up the non-tricky waterfall, as well as Paragoombas that have trouble flying when their wings are wet, as it turns out.
15: 6-6 The main area of the level is pleasant, though not terribly hard, though the narrow passages with the Spinies I like. It's also got bonus rooms that are pretty much connected to each other, and the main part of the level. Racoon Mario can reach a bonus area with coins and a fire flower, who can reach the other bonus area!
14: 4-5 A fun little underground level where you'll quickly learn to be wary of enemies falling from waterfalls. It's also got a cool little secret that requires either Racoon Mario or a P-switch. And since there're no leaves in the level, that'll likely leave figuring out the P-switch to find it!
13: 2-6 Not a whole lot to the level, really. Some sand, some quicksand you'll need to sink into, and not many enemies until the end, where you'll want to be careful. And I really love the Chain Chomp placement here.
Super Mario World Smb3 Style Hack Download Mac
12: Fortress 4-2 It's got Hot Foots, Roto-Discs, and Thwomps. Nothing out of the ordinary, but it all clicks together really well here, with some decent challenging parts, and a nice little water room and fake walls that lead to bonus areas.
11: 3-8 Yes, it's that level. Yes, the warp whistle is here! It's also very well hidden, though there's nothing unfair about how it's hidden. It's pretty much the same way as you find the whistle in the original 1-3, but with a fun little twist on it. It's a pretty fun level otherwise as well, particularly the climb to the end of the level.
10: The Tower For the most part, not too hard, but nicely foreboding and atmospheric. It starts on the ground, with a lone Chain Chomp guarding the entrance, leading to a pretty hectic first room. Upstairs is quiet, and the next outside room isn't busy either. Except the coins everywhere from the P-switches! The next room isn't too busy, but it does have a well-placed Thwomp to annoy. And outside in the sky, leading to the top of the map, another Chain Chomp guarding the vine needed to get to the exit. It all just clicks together for a fun ride!
9: 5-6 It's a fairly standard sky sort of level. Just a really well done one, with a bit of moving platform riding, Koopa Paratroopa jumping, a secret P-switch that makes the Koopa Paratroopa jumping a whole lot easier, a conveyor belt, and the works, making it a great sky level.
8: 3-10 The only level with Boss Bass, but I made it count! It's an exceptionally difficult level without Fire Mario, and hard even with Fire Mario, though thankfully, fire flowers are plenty. Be thankful for that! There's also a hidden shortcut through the level.
7: Bowser's Castle A very long level with several rooms, with three fairly long rooms toward the end, right before the fight with Bowser himself. I wanted to go all-out for this castle, making it feel like an epic journey to the Koopa King himself, and I feel it works! The battle with Bowser himself is considerably harder, but thankfully, unlike the original, the castle provides fire flowers instead of leaves. That'll help a whole lot if you can make it to Bowser as not small Mario.
6: 6-5 A puzzle level in the vein of the original 6-5, but different enough, and with a completely unique solution. While in the original 6-5 you needed Racoon Mario to beat it, here you need Fire Mario. So you can do the level the easy way and just start as Fire Mario (cheater), or you can do it the fun way and start as anything but Fire Mario. The fire flower is hard to get in the level. The leaf is easy, though, and good thing, too, since you need Racoon Mario to get to that hard-to-reach fire flower!
5: 7-5 One of the game's vertical pipe levels. It's not an especially difficult level, but it's a lot of fun, from finding your way around, finding the bonus room, and finding the exit from a whole lot of choices at the end. And if you're not Racoon Mario, have fun with the note block room!
4: Fortress 6-1 https://evernb240.weebly.com/download-hacked-mountain-lion-disc-image.html. Everything here works! The first room feels very vertical, despite it being the normal horizontal area. The second room has the ever-fun 'dodging things while on a moving platform' bit. And the final area, of course, outside, where you fight Boom Boom!
3: 3-5 A fairly simple level, but it's actually a lot tougher if you're small Mario, since he has trouble in the shallow water. I love the aesthetics, though, as well as the physics of how different the level is for small Mario compared to Super Mario!
2: 7-14 A perfectly ordinary sort of level. But hard! Lots of Piranha Plants everywhere, just right where they tend to annoy you most, as well as some Nippers and fire-spitting Nippers, and everything else placed just so perfectly! It's even got an easy-to-miss bonus room! It's a very hard, but very fun level to play through!
1: 5-3 I love everything about this long level! For one, it's long: there's a lot of level here. Second, it's another level with two routes to choose from for a bit, an upper and lower route. It's got a lot of fun with P-switches, one needed to get very far in the level, and another that leads to a secret area! Specifically, the inaccessible area with Kuribo's shoe from back in 1-5: it's accessible now! And it makes the spike room a heck of a lot easier. It's also got the non-hidden but hard-to-collect 1-up, and lots to do in general, with a unique closing to the level, even! Everything just works so wonderfully here, making it my favorite level from my hack!
